Synthetic thickener

NM-ST 2342 rheology control additive is a powdered synthetic thickener based on polyacrylic acid. Being used in aqueous systems for a variety of different purposes in printing, coating or other technical applications.

It demonstrates ion insensitivity to electrolytes which may be present in dye printing systems, combined with efficient thickening performance. This resin is un-neutralized and requires addition of an appropriate neutralizing agent to achieve maximum thickening efficiency. Neutralized dispersions of the NM-ST 2342 show high viscosity and high yield stress and can be used for suspending pigments or other particles in an aqueous system.

NM –Carbomer 20 INCI Name: Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Cross polymer  NM–Carbomer 20 polymerization solvents is Ethyl Acetate& Cyclohexane,  a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylate copolymer, providing moderate-to high viscosity with smooth flow properties. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency at a broad pH range which makes it a good choice for wide applications. NM-Carbomer 20 self- wets and disperses quickly in minutes, which remarkably meets formulators’ ease-use need. It has higher electrolyte tolerance and handle a higher level of surfactant actives, being ideally suited for use in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, and hydroalcoholic gels, sanitizing gels. Even at high concentration, NM-Carbomer20 maintains excellent clarity.
