Polyvinylpyrrolidone pvp k90 can dissolve in water and grain alcohol, isopropyl alcohol or chloroform, but not in acetone or diethyl ether. Have good absorption moisture, film-forming, complex ability. It is a high performance, versatile polymer widely used in hearlth care field, cosmetics field, beer, water treatment membrane, detergents, paints and other fields. 

Application 

1. health care  application: Used as binder for tablet and pellet, dissolving assistant for injection, flowing assistant capsule, dispersant for liquid medicine and pigment, stabilizer for enzyme and heat sensitive drug. 

2. Cosmetic application: Used extensively in a wide range hair care, skin care &oral care products. The products are particularly suitable for formulation where viscosity modification and film forming properties are required. 

3. Tech application: As surface coating agent, dispersing agent, thickener, binder, porogen in water treatment membrane ( hollow fiber membrane, ultrafiltration membrane,  nanofiltration membrane, etc.), paint, printing ink, textile, printing and drying color picture tubes.

Its self-wets and disperses quickly in minutes, which remarkably meets formulators’ ease-use need. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency at a wide pH range which makes it a good choice for wide applications. It is ideally suited for use in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, and hydroalcoholic gel, antibacterial gel hand, hand gel sanitizer, sanitizer gel with alcohol. Even at high concentration, NM-Carbomer21 maintains excellent clarity.

NM-ST 2623 Rheology Control Additive Synthetic thickener NM-ST 2623 rheology control additive is a powdered synthetic thickener based on polyacrylic acid. Being used in aqueous systems for a variety of different purposes in printing, coating or other technical applications. It demonstrates ion insensitivity to electrolytes which may be present in dye printing systems, combined with efficient thickening performance. This resin is un-neutralized and requires addition of an appropriate neutralizing agent to achieve maximum thickening efficiency. Neutralized dispersions of the NM-ST 2623 show high viscosity and high yield stress and can be used for suspending pigments or other particles in an aqueous system.
