NM-Carbomer 60  INCI Name: Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer It is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylate copolymer. While retaining the outstanding thickening and suspending properties of traditional  NM-Carbomer 970, 981, 990, 934 etc. , it overcomes the salt-sensitivity limitation of traditional carbomers. It enables stable thickening across a broad pH at 4~11, perfectly meeting the formulation requirements of mild, low-irritation and barrier-friendly autumn cleansing products.

NM-Carbomer 60 features both outstanding thickening efficiency and electrolyte tolerance. its neutralized aqueous solution with 1.0 wt.% NaCl at 1.0% dosage keeps viscosity ≥4500 mPa·s. It is particularly compatible with amino acid surfactant systems. At approximately pH 5.8, a weakly acidic condition close to the skin’s natural pH, it forms a three-dimensional crosslinked gel network. While delivering robust thickening and mild rheology control, it optimizes sensory attributes and improves suspension and moldability of formulations.

It is ideally suited for facial cleansers, amino acid cleansers, shampoos, body washes, soap-based cleansing products, hand sanitizer gels and liquid hand soaps, as well as other body and hand cleansing items.
