The introduction of hydrophobic-modified copolymer monomers has a good synergistic thickening effect with surfactants, micelles and hydrophobic raw materials, thereby endowing efficient thickening performance and excellent electrolyte resistance, and is particularly suitable for formulation systems with high surfactant content.

6) For special scenarios such as amino acid surfactant systems, a special product NM-Carbomer Aqua 25 with INCI name Acrylates/ Steareth-20 Methacrylate Crosspolymer has been specially developed. It is also a kind of anionic hydrophobic modified alkali swelling new acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE), with excellent thickening and suspending properties. Its 1.0wt.% active ingredient aqueous solution neutralizes to pH 7.2 - 7.5 viscosity is ~20,000 mPas. The viscosity of 1.0wt.% salt (with 0.2% NaCl added) is not lower than 4000 mPas. It is particularly suitable for amino acid surfactant systems and low pH systems. At the same time, it also has excellent transparency and can be widely applied in various surfactant formulations with high content.

This series of Newman liquid carbomers are the multifunctional polymer that integrates thickening, suspension, emulsification. They not only effectively enhance the viscosity of the product but also has excellent suspension capabilities, allowing insoluble components such as abrasive particles, pearlescent powders, and petals to be permanently suspended in the system.
