NM-Carbomer as excipients for oral care products
toothpastes,denture care products, mouth rinses, and whitening
applications
NM-Carbomer
products have been used extensively in oral care applications for more than 10
years.
Initially
used in aqueous toothpaste formulations as a thickener and co-binder,
NM-Carbomer products are now preferred thickeners for anhydrous toothpaste
formulations. They are also used in a variety of other toothpastes, mouth
rinses, and denture adhesive products, including those with natural
ingredients, whitening capabilities, and long-acting or retention properties.
Oral Care Applications-All polymers listed in table below are
pharmaceutical-grade and suitable for use in oral care applications and are present in
commercialized oral hygiene products
