INCI Name: Acrylates Copolymer


NM-Carbomer SF-1 is a rheology modifier that provides the convenience of a liquid while delivering unique benefits to surfactant-based cleansing products. NM-Carbomer SF-1 specifically imparts efficient suspending and stabilizing, as well as thickening properties, to formulations containing high levels of surfactants. This is not always possible with typical powdered carbomer products. NM-Carbomer SF-1 is also with advantage to produce very clear formulations containing high levels of surfactants.

Formula Guidelines


  •  The minimum recommended use level in surfactant-based products is 4.0 wt%; For clear formulations containing no salt and low surfactant actives, typical use levels are 8.0~10.0 wt%.
  •  Directly be added to the formulas.
