Carbomer 2020/NM-Carbomer2020
is a cross-linked polyacrylic acid copolymer.
It has long viscous flow
property, imparts excellent thickening and suspending capability especially in
surfactant systems and forms sparkling clarity gels. NM-Carbomer2020 has the
ability to wet quickly but hydrate slowly, uncoiling at a relatively lower
rate.
This feature makes it easy to disperse and pump and handle in process due
to its low dispersion viscosity before neutralization.
NM-Carbomer2020 is a cross-linked polyacrylic acid copolymer. Its self-wets and disperses quickly in minutes, which remarkably meets formulators’ ease-use need. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency at a wide pH range which makes it a good choice for wide applications. It is ideally suited for use in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, in formulations containing higher levels of oils, botanical ingredients, and hydroalcoholic gel, antibacterial gel hand, hand gel sanitizer, sanitizer gel with alcohol.

thickener based on polyacrylic acid. Being used in aqueous systems for a
variety of different purposes in printing, coating or other technical
applications.
It
demonstrates ion insensitivity to electrolytes which may be present in dye
printing systems, combined with efficient thickening performance. This resin is un-neutralized
and requires addition of an appropriate neutralizing agent to achieve maximum
thickening efficiency. Neutralized dispersions of the NM-ST 2623 show high
viscosity and high yield stress and can be used for suspending pigments or
other particles in an aqueous system.
